Large Wooden Teleidoscopes are made using a variety of hardwoods like cherry, walnut, padauk, purpleheart and teak. They are the perfect birthday gift, stocking stuffer, Easter basket goodie, you name it! Unlike kaleidoscopes, teleidoscopes do not use colored glass or marbles to create prisms. Instead, there are different angles of mirrors inside to create endless different prisms. Whatever you are pointing at with the teleidoscope, is what you see. Pictures will automatically change to the style selected on the drop-down menu. All listing photos are an example. You may not receive the exact pictured as wood types can vary in color. Very nice taleidoscope. Very nice finish on the wood, and no bubbles in the glass sphere on the end. However, I think, over all, it is a bit over priced.
