Overall, I’m happy with the purchase for the price point and would recommend. Bought this to replace my 15-year old artisan paddle (shown for comparison, but had also cost twice as much). Spoon is as-described, a nice sturdy tool crafted from quality wood, and a great length. The pass-through window is a nice feature; it is my go-to tool for cooking rice and also worked well for batter. The reason for four stars is it lacks some character and had some rough spots, which I can buff out. The handle is rounder and less grippy/edgy and the constant taper is not as comfortable as my older one… overall I just have less control. The tool is crafted from a straight, flat piece and can be felt in the stirring feedback.
