Beautiful bookends! Exactly as seen in photos, these bookends are well made, beautiful, and functional. I appreciate the metal base, as some bookends do not have this feature, which really helps to hold the books together, particularly when they are not against a wall. Mine are on top of a cabinet and are only being supported by these bookends. Because they have the metal base that actually goes under some of the books, all 30 of my books are supported well. Love the cork on the bottom of the base because it protects my cabinet. Highly recommend!

The item is nice and the photos were accurate. However, it does not stand at a 90 degree angle as a bookend should. Instead, it is slanted which really bugs my OCD. For the price, this was particularly disappointing.
