The pie pan is big, heavy, well made, and beautiful. I was so scared when I picked up the box and saw a huge hole in the side (no fault of the seller, it was how USP handled the box), but it was so well packed the pie pan inside was perfectly fine!

I purchased three of these large pie dishes a couple of years ago and absolutely love them. I recently ordered two more of these pie dishes for wedding shower gifts. They shipped quickly - but what a disappointment when I opened them. The design has been modified and there is no way to cleanly remove a slice of pie as the straight angle below the ruffled edge was removed. You might be able to use them for a cobbler or other crustless recipe. And, no refunds.

Pie dish is absolutely beautiful. Shipping was very quick and packaging was great. Pie baked in this dish turned out perfectly. Beautiful presentation.
The item is nice and of good quality however, the flaws in the finish look like it was not washed clean and has food or dirt stuck to the bottom of the pie pan. I reached out to customer service and it was explained to me the brown spots should be expected in their white pieces and are there on purpose.
I love the variations in the colors. I love that it is deep dish. Beautiful pie plate. It came so wrapped up in protection, I was afraid I'd drop it trying to unwrap it.

Pie plate is the perfect shape, form, size, and depth (it’s deep in my book and I love that). Used it twice so far in the oven and am looking forward to more uses! It’s quite versatile as a pasta dish, a salad bowl for two, or any kind of serving dish really. I love pretty much everything about it. The only caveat is that it developed a craze on the inside which is all over. However it is subtle and not very noticeable. Been told by customer service that it’s still safe to use. USA-made with USA clay and no lead and cadmium are wonderful qualities. Anyway, gorgeous! If they can make it so that it won’t craze at all, that would be even better. Packed with amazing care as well! Wish this family-owned business (as well as the highly talented ceramic artist) continued success! Thanks for answering all of my questions.

*Update- baked pumpkin and apple pies in them for Thanksgiving and they worked perfectly. So much prettier than using plain metal or glass pans. Love them!
