I have tried various cheese cutters for pottery faceting techniques, and none have produced work as perfect as this. It's not wise to try saving money by ordering cheap items. This one is worth every penny. Thank you.

I have used one of these cheese cutters for 6 or 7 years before the wire broke. The directions for installing the replacement wire were clear and concise. Back in business in short order!

I love the quality and ease of maintenance -- no proprietary wire with special ends needed. This is a fantastic slicer that can easily last a lifetime with the proper love and attention. The ONLY nit to pick here is that the wood body, though very sturdy, doesn't give a larger handed individual like myself much to grip. The thumb ends up doing a fair bit of the work. A perpendicular handle would make this a bit easier to use...not that it's difficult to use this...I guess I'm just thinking of what potential improvements could be made to an already great item. Take away: I am very happy with the purchase, quality, and the maker and have absolutely recommend this to other people.
Great craftmanship, I ordered a couple replacement wires, just in case. I used the cheese slicer the day after I received it and what a great kitchen tool!!
