The bell portion holds one stick of softened butter.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHow to Use:\u003cbr\u003e-Set a stick of butter out to get to room temperature until soft.\u003cbr\u003e-Press the softened butter firmly into the bell portion of the lid.\u003cbr\u003eIt should be soft enough to press into the butter bell lid without air pockets\u003cbr\u003e-Smooth the surface so it sits flush with the rim.\u003cbr\u003e-Pour cold water into the base of the crock ¼” - ½” deep\u003cbr\u003e-Place the lid on the crock, the water forms a seal that keeps air away from the butter to keep it fresh.\u003cbr\u003e-When you're ready to enjoy your fresh, spreadable butter you can easily take the lid off, flip it over, and set it flat side down on the table for serving.\u003cbr\u003e-Butter stays soft and fresh for about 2–4 weeks (depending on room temperature).\u003cbr\u003e-Change the water every 2–3 days to keep it fresh.\u003cbr\u003e-Store it on the countertop, away from direct heat or sunlight.\u003cbr\u003e-Wash crock between sticks to prevent buildup.
